As we are approaching christmas time again, I feel I have to re-iterate an issue that I first mentioned in a post on this blog nearly 5 years ago.
Christmas time is the most likely time of the year to experience depression. The suicide rate is higher during December than any other month, which tells us that Christmas depression should be taken quite seriously. Depression at Christmas time can be triggered by a multitude of things, such as losses, failures loneliness and worst of all, Coldplay.
Their constant dirge and relentless blandness is claiming the souls of young children across the world. Children who have a basic human right to happiness. Their lyrics are meaningless, they lack real emotion and their music is about as grey as music can be.
With current financial and economic problems causing problems all over the world, rising unemployment, climate issues, increasing civil unrest and uncertain futures, the last thing the world needed was another Coldplay album.
Please take care, protect your children and do what ever you can to stop this epidemic from growing any further. If your watching a TV program and they use Coldplay as their backing track, turn over. If you are in a pub or a supermarket and you begin to hear Coldplay over the PA, leave immediately. If you cannot leave, make sure the staff at the venue are aware of this issue too. If you are with your children and you hear Coldplay, cover their ears. Children’s hearing is much more acute than adults and they may be damaged for life if they accidentally catch this tonal stream of dirty bath water.
And if you see Chris Martin over the Christmas period, please tell him to ‘STOP RELEASING ALBUMS AND SINGLES AND NEVER TOUR AGAIN YOU ANNOYING PRICK!‘ from me
There is just no need for it.
