I saw this on Pinterest and rather than giving Little Bee’s tights to charity, I put them to one side for the day I will attempt to make it.
And today was as better day than any day.
I made it in less than 30 minutes as we were waiting for Little Bee’s bath time and need to find a way to entertain her. I thought by making Mr Octopus she might sit down and observe but she wanted to help!
So there was a lot of ‘No, scissors are sharp’, ‘There’s enough filling now’, ‘No, keep away from my needle box’, ‘Look, go and have your bath, I’ll stitch the mouth on if you want’.
Hubby says it’s very shabby and that I need to clean it up a bit more. Oh well… I think it looks great for something made for less than 30 minutes with a toddler on tow bugging me all the way!
