This was what greeted me when I went to pick Little Bee from nursery on Monday. Proudly on the wall, a portrait of me.
Bulging eyes and screaming mouth. I guess that’s the sight that she sees everyday as she is currently in her terrible two stage heading towards impossible three!
Well done Little Bee. You really captured my essence!

This is Little Bee’s worm jar.
Over the weekend, I was doing some weeding and digging in the garden. Little Bee loves collecting earthworms when I’m digging in the garden. She would put them in a bowl, bucket or whatever container she could find and move them from one bit of the garden to another.
However, last weekend, we had a keen visitor in the shape of a robin red breast. Little Bee poured some bird food for the robin but while she had her back turned, the robin gobbled up two of her worms. She got quite upset about it and insisted I took the one and only worm left indoors. I plonked some compost on the worm and brought it in.
Last night I found the worm crawling in the kitchen floor and decided to move it into a jar with some compost, egg shells and a bit of spring onion. I told Little Bee that the next time we go into the garden, she could put more worm into the jar.
If you look carefully to the left of the jar next to the leaf, you could see a bit of Little Bee’s little worm.

After falling off the swing and being stung by nettle in the garden, I decided that Little Bee shall have some indoor activity today. She wanted to bake and these were what she made
I got the recipe off here. I… excuse me… Little Bee followed the recipe to the t so you could just click on the link if you’d like to try it out. Seriously easy! Oh… we used red colouring instead. Little Bee loves sprinkling the decorations… and eating them… and with sugar overload, it took a while to settle her to sleep this evening. *sigh*
Tomorrow, we’ll go back to the garden as I’ve pulled out most of the nettle… plus we have some broadbeans to repot.

Hubby was going to see K who just had a baby boy. I said to Little Bee that we need to write him a card and asked her to draw in it and this was what she drew.
It’s a first proper face she drew in front of me. I was thoroughly impressed.
